Cema P9 pushbuttons: fixing and positioning

The key on the operating bodies of the Cema P9 pushbuttons guarantees their correct positioning on panels with CENELEC EN 50007 standard holes equipped with an orientation notch and prevents any possible involuntary rotation. The key can be easily removed, with a screwdriver, for use on holes without notch.
The operators of the Cema P9 series are fixed to the panel with a patented rear ring nut which allows locking by means of a screwdriver. Alternatively, a torque wrench is available as an accessory.

Cema P9 pushbuttons: rapid assembly

All P9 series rear panel units are snap-on. In panel mounting, the assembly with the operator takes place through a special patented flange, which guarantees quick connection of the entire rear panel block. With assembly at the bottom of the box, the assembly takes place directly through the appropriate internal adapter. Each individual unit can be mounted or removed independently, in the case of panel mounting it is possible to mount or remove the entire block. All operations are carried out by means of a screwdriver.

Reliability and safety

The contact blocks of the Cema P9 series have been designed to ensure maximum contact reliability in all operating conditions and particularly to control circuits at low energy levels (12V-5mA minimum). All this is made possible by the design solutions adopted such as:
– Four points of contact
– Extremely effective self-cleaning movement
– Silver contacts
– High contact pressure

Mounting options

The Cema P9 pushbutton panel is offered in two types of contact blocks / power supplies for:
– Traditional panel mounting
– Bottom box mounting

The assembly at the bottom of the box is carried out by means of the special plastic push-button boxes that allow quick coupling and safe positioning of the operating parts.

The removal of the operators does not require interventions on the connections of the electrical units, facilitating maintenance operations.
