Omron CJ1: Quick and easy setup<\/h5>\n

The connection of the Omron CJ1 PLC modules is done simply by joining them together without any rack. There is nothing easier to create ad hoc configurations, and the installation of the PLC in electrical panels will no longer have to take into account bulky racks.<\/p>\n

Built-in smart functions<\/h5>\n

The heart of the machine control system is the CPU. The CPUs of the Omron CJ1 are available in various models, from cheap ones for simple sequence control, to those ultra-powerful high-speed capable of handling up to 2560 I \/ O points. However, the main advantage is the opportunity of installing any module on any type of CPU, with a consequent reduction in inventory.<\/p>\n

Transparent communications<\/h5>\n

The built-in automatic bridge functions ensure transparent communications even between networks of different levels and types. Programming and data transfer operations are performed in complete transparency both on open networks, such as Ethernet, Profibus-DP and DeviceNet, and on Omron’s cost-effective proprietary networks. The open communication modules of Omron CJ1 also allow you to communicate with any third party device.<\/p>\n

The special units for speed, position and temperature control can manage part of the operations normally assigned to the CPU, allowing for simpler programming, a higher level of integration and a reduction in wiring.
